Buenos Aires, as lively as New-York, as fashionable as Paris!
Because of my Argentinean husband Guillermo, I have been lucky to discover Buenos Aires 15 years ago. I have been excited to go back over and over, ever since. This lively city always surprises us with new fancy spots , authentic legendary corners and extreme positive energy.
B.A. didn’t disappoint again last month when we stayed at the Ultra Hotel, the best Boutique Hotel in Buenos Aires.
Ultra Hotel is located in the Palermo Soho, one of the most fashionable neighborhoods of the city. Traditional or Fancy restaurants and trendy shopping are surrounding the area.
We booked the ultra royal double suite which was very spacious, luminous and furnished with great taste. My favorite was the roomy and sexy bathroom closed by antique louvered shutters. Peekaboo, i see you!
The authentic Argentinean Steakhouse Lo de Jesus is just around the corner. There is no better place to enjoy picadas and traditional Argentinean grill. And they have been serving the locals for more than 63 years, just saying !
Lastly, you are at walking distance to the most exciting local designer shopping boutiques. Paula Cahen D’Anvers has always been one of favorite brand to shop while traveling to Argentina. Last trip, I added Ginebra for their Gucci look alike slippers to my list of must see stores.
If you are looking to remodel your flat in BA ( which will be me soon , hopefully!) or simply to bring back some home goodies from your trip, you can’t pass on a visit at Paul French Gallery where you will fall in love with furnitures inviting to relaxation, inspirational art pieces, and objects of great curiosities.
Until next time, B.A. …
